Subject: Bardo Safari Challenge and Bake Sale

This week marks the historic reissue of the grand Bardo Safari Challenge. There isn't actually any bake sale involved -- it just looks nice in the subject line.

The BSC is simple. The object is for you to get a character as far as you can in one week, starting at 6 p.m. PST, November 11, to 6 p.m. PST November 18, 2005.

This allows for work, school, shopping and time-zone differences as much as possible. That means you start with a brand new level 1 character on East Ladder.

This is not an optional exercise . All Worldwide Work Circle and community members should consider this exercise as compulsory, mandatory and non-optional!

That means you can use any character: necro, barb, sorc, pally, assassin, druid, zon, or baker.

That means you do it All!!!. In other words, no help from friends, no help from family, no help from strangers, no help from any category of persons (or non-persons), living or dead that are not you. In fact you can't even bring in one of your other characters to help. You are allowed to use anything you find or buy in stores ... however:

No equipment transfers from other characters to this new character.
No buying stuff on ebay.
No going into "Free Here" games and grabbing stuff.
No going into cow games and picking stuff off the ground.
In fact, there should never be more than one character in your game at any time.

Yes, DO THIS ONLINE. At the end of the week we will review the characters to see who made it the furthest. The winner (or winners in the case of a tie) will receive a wonderful prize selected by our esteemed panel of judges. meaning us. We absolutely guarantee the prize will be small enough to ship through the mails or download on the internet.

If there is a loop-hole that we have not thought of, you can't do that, either. You are on the "Honor System".

Claude Needham & EJ Gold, Paladins-At-Law

P.S. If you think this does not include YOU, write and tell us what part of "all" don't you understand?
